PTO Executive Board Members
Miki Gale – President
I am excited to be serving my second year as PTO President! As a mom of two boys in the district (2nd & 4th grades), I love finding ways to make school a little more fun for the kids while building a stronger school community for families and staff.
This year, my goal is to make PTO feel more welcoming, accessible, and fun for everyone. I hope to get more families involved by creating volunteer opportunities that fit real life—whether you have five minutes, five hours, or just a really good idea. I also want to grow middle school involvement, improve communication with families, and continue creating memorable experiences for students while supporting our amazing teachers and staff.
When I'm not working, mom-ing, or doing something PTO-related, I can usually be found planning my next project or somewhere on the soccer pitch cheering on my boys - and wondering how my calendar got so full!
Jamie Dimmick - Vice President
I have called Fox River Grove home since 2004, while my husband, Paul, is a lifetime Grover! We’ve had children in District 3 schools since 2005—Haleigh (Class of 2013), Lilly (Class of 2022), and our youngest, Ben, who is currently a 7th grader at FRGMS.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving the PTO in many capacities, including Assistant Treasurer, Member at Large, and now Vice President. I’ve also chaired numerous committees, including Teacher Appreciation Week, ARS Yearbook, PTO Directory, Local Merchants, Spring Fling, Trivia Night, Mother/Son Outing, and most recently, Night on the Town.
While organizing events and supporting our schools has been incredibly rewarding, my favorite part of PTO involvement has been the people. I’ve met so many wonderful parents and made lasting friendships with families I may never have gotten to know otherwise. PTO has a unique way of bringing our community together, regardless of what grade our kids are in.
Fox River Grove is a special place to raise a family, and I love finding ways to give back to the community that has given so much to ours. I’m excited to serve as PTO Vice President and look forward to supporting our students, teachers, staff, and families in the year ahead.
Jenn Mepham - Associate Vice President
Hi! I’m Jenn Mepham, proud mom to Emmie (3rd grade) and Easton (preschooler) and wife to RJ! I’m a RN and
currently work as a simulationist for Advocate Health, helping to train and support healthcare teams. I also serve as a Girl Scout Troop Co-Leader for the ARS 3rd grade Brownie troop. In my free time, I love decorating cookies, baking sourdough bread, and practicing yoga. As part of the PTO, I strive to bring fun and memorable experiences to our students and families through creative and engaging fundraising efforts. I’m excited to support our school community and help make this year a great one!
Christine Curtis - Secretary
I’m excited to serve as Secretary on the PTO Board for my second year! I love volunteering with the PTO through a variety of programs that support our students, staff, school, and the entire ARS community.
Outside of the PTO, I work as a nurse at Good Shepherd Hospital while keeping up with life alongside my three kids: Weston (5th grade), Brayden (3rd grade), and Macie (preschool).
I’m passionate about helping families feel connected and involved because the PTO does so much for our school and none of it would be possible without the support of our amazing volunteers. It truly takes a village, and I look forward to working together to make this another great year!
Elise O'Malley - Treasurer
Hi! I’m Elise O’Malley, and I’m so excited to be serving as the new Treasurer for the PTO! My family moved to FRG in 2020, and I’m the proud mom of two kids at ARS—my daughter, Emma, is in 3rd grade, and my son, James, is in preschool.
After more than 10 years working in public and private accounting, I made the transition to being a stay-at- home mom last year. I’m so excited to now have the opportunity to get more involved in our school community and use my experience to help support the PTO. I’m looking forward to working with our families, teachers, and fellow PTO members and helping make this a great year!
Arlene Kruser - Assistant Treasurer
I’m excited to continue serving as your PTO Treasurer for a fourth year! My family moved to FRG in 2021, and we’ve truly enjoyed being part of this wonderful community. I have a daughter in 9th grade at Cary-Grove High School and a son in 7th grade at FRG Middle School. Prior to moving here, I served on other school boards as both Secretary and Treasurer.
I look forward to another great year working alongside our amazing parents, students, staff, and community.
Rachel Brouder - Member-at-Large
My name is Rachel Brouder and I’m excited to serve as a Member at Large this year. When my daughter (Greta) started kindergarten last year, I began attending PTO meetings and was so impressed by the support the PTO provides to the staff and students. This inspired me to become more involved in our school community. As an educator, I know firsthand the importance of supporting teachers and creating meaningful events and experiences for students and their families. I look forward to supporting the PTO and our community this year!
Emily Narkviroj - Member-at-Large
Hi! I’m Emily Narkviroj, mom to Brinley (1st grade) and I’m excited to serve as a Member at Large on the PTO Board this year! I’ve loved getting more involved in our school community through the PTO, helping with events like the VIP & Me Dance, cookie decorating, and other family activities. I’m looking forward to continuing to find creative ways to bring our families together and make school experiences fun and memorable for our kids.
